The city Atlanta is the capital and most populous city in the U.S. state of Georgia and is the seventh-most visited city in the United States. It is considered as a center for higher education. The city is situated among the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Atlanta has topographic features that include rolling hills and dense tree coverage, earning it the nickname of "the city in a forest". Downtown Atlanta is the hub of Tours, sports, business and fun and it is the largest of the three business districts in the state and known as the Historic Business District. Midtown Atlanta Known as the “Heart of the Arts” is the center of Atlanta's arts scene.
