Prof. Joseph Shemesh, MD, Director of the Shibat Medical Screening Center. Prof. Shemesh has completed his medical education at the University of Paris VII Premier cycle des etudes Medicales and the Sackler School of Medicine, TAU. He serves as Clinical professor of Cardiology, at the Sackler School of Medicine, TAU. He is a recipient of the Prof Richard, Hilda and Ezra Meltzer Memorial Award for the contribution to the development of non invasive detection of subclinical coronary atherosclerosis. Member in Israel Heart Society and European Heart Society. Prof. Shemesh acts as a Chairman of the Working Group on Epidemiology and Prevention; active participant in scientific meetings. Prof. Shemesh is a largely published author with over 70 publications in the scientific literature.
